WESTFIELD CENTER, OHIO – June 5, 2008 – Westfield Insurance was recently recognized at the ACORD LOMA Insurance System Forum in Las Vegas for efforts to deliver and promote Real Time transactions, which greatly streamline agency workflows. ACORD is the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development.

Westfield received two prestigious awards, the AUGIE Carrier Productive Agency Award and the Real Time Implementation and Active Agencies award.

The AUGIE Carrier Productive Agency Award recognized Westfield for the Real Time transactions they have implemented and their proactive work to educate agents on the benefits of Real Time workflows. Over each of the last two years, Westfield has doubled their overall Real Time transaction usage among their agencies. To help achieve this goal, they completed over 30 web conferences, countless agency visits and a comprehensive personal lines underwriter training program used to reach more agencies in less time.

The Real Time implementation and Active Agencies award was given to carriers who, like Westfied, offer a full suite of Real Time service and sales transactions implemented using ACORD standards.
