WESTFIELD CENTER, Ohio - April 19, 2007 - Jim Chapman has been named senior executive of Westfield Insurance's commercial lines Central division. He is responsible for the profit and growth of commercial lines traditional and mid-market business in Ohio and Kentucky.

Chapman began his career at Westfield Insurance 30 years ago and has held various positions throughout the Company, including project executive, marketing assistant vice president and district underwriting manager. Most recently, Chapman served as senior executive, P&C Services, where he was responsible for the overall operations of the commercial lines services, risk control, premium audit, premium accounting and mail center departments.

Chapman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Bowling Green State University. In addition, he services on the Underwriting Executives Council.
