Westfield Group, on behalf of Westfield Insurance, Westfield Bank and its employees, recently made a corporate contribution of $250,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

In addition, the company will match all employee donations made to the Red Cross between August 29 and September 23.

"Our hearts go out to the hurricane survivors and the many volunteers involved in relief efforts. While Westfield has very few policyholders affected by Katrina, we are very glad to help the American Red Cross in any way that we can to provide support for those in need during this time," said CEO and Chairman Bob Joyce. "I know there are many companies and communities who have already donated to the relief effort. For those that haven't, please get involved in any way you can."
